Each school holidays when I kiddy free, I read a book.
For weeks I search, ask around and check out my favorite authors for that perfect read.
My research came up with nothing. Nothing caught my attention. Even browsing book stores only made me more frustrated.
Finally I found this book and I welled up with curiosity. Kasey Chambers ‘the captain’ was given to me as a Xmas present in 1999 and I loved.
This is a fantastic book and highly recommend it. As I read her story I recall all the press stories, golden guitars & Arias.
From Kasey’s perspective this book is an eye opener to how hard work & dedication can pay off. As i read i remind myself that success & fame does come at a price.
