Here is my favourite recipe to make rum balls, however I have been using butterscotch Schnapps instead of rum.
250g Marie Biscuits
1 cup coconut
2 tablespoons cocoa
1 400g can sweetened condensed milk
rum or butterscotch schnapps
extra coconut or chocolate splinters
Gather your ingredients
Beat up your biscuits in the packet to start the crushing process.
My food processor broke, so I have been using my blender.
The blender does a very fine crumb.
Add the coconut.
Add the cocoa.
There will be some little lumps, don’t worry about them.
Mix all the dry ingredients together.
Make a well in the middle.
Pour the condense milk into the well.
add the alcohol
Mix the alcohol into the condense milk.
Form little balls.
Roll them in the coconut or chocolate splinters.
Chill in the fridge.
