I have been making my own yoghurt for the last week and can’t believe how easy it is. Why have I not been doing this for years?

Here is my way of making yoghurt at home.

Here are the essential ingredients
600mls of full cream milk
2 tablespoons of yoghurt (containing live cultures)
1/2 cup of skim milk powder
Using my finger as a temperature gauge
Warm up a glass jar with hotwater
Tips out the hotwater and fill with the warm milk.
The temerature of the milk should be blood warm, it should not get hot but really warm.
Yup accidents happen
Add the yoghurt
Mix it until all the yoghurt has dissolved
Add the powdered milk
Mix until all the lumps are gone.
If the little lumps will not dissolve, scoop them out and eat them.

Store in the microwave over night
Don’t forget to put a reminder on the microwave door.
