I have this little lime tree in a pot. It has been a great little tree and I get a couple of limes off it each year.
Not the best shot, the ants were camera shy.
What are they doing in my citrus tree? Are they building a nest? Does this mean that there is heavy rain heading our way?
Ants are the only new neighbour that has moved into my lime tree, here is a grasshopper. Grasshoppers and ants fighting over a tree would make a great kids movie. Oh, wait that has already been made.
This is what I would like to protect and want to be harvesting next year in winter.
