The prayer shawl is finished and now giving hugs to a lovely lady.
No matter what your religion or blief there are times in life where you need assistance. I love the idea of the Pray Shawl Ministry and how they are creating a shawl for happy occasion, sad periods and the offer of love when it is most needed.
My shawl started out with a prayer and as I crochetted away, creating stitch after stitch I meditated on how strong a women can be, how rewarding it is to raise children on your own, all the people who love me and how blessed I am.
My gift to this lovely lady is a plain green, soft wool, crochet shawl that hopefully holds onto all those lovely memories. My wish is that she feels the loved, blessed, supported and comfort.
