The sun is shining and the weather is warming up and the kiddies and I can’t wait to spend time in the garden again.
After an overnight visit to see Pa we came home early on Sunday so we could spend time in the garden and get ready for what is going to be a very busy week.
Look at all these lovely flowers that my favourite children + friend planted in autumn, aren’t they looking lovely. It is a small miracle that they survived since the children never water them and I rarely remember to water them.
Now that we are picking ripe cherry tomatoes off our little shrubs, I am doubly amazed at the total lack of care this little garden gets.
I did put heaps of effort into soil preparation and mulching which is obviously helping.
Such a shame that the kiddies don’t like eating cherry tomatoes, would have been better off planting strawberries.
Don’t these flowers look pretty tho, I wonder if we can eat them.
Look at this Rainbow Lorikeet, it drops by for a little visit, we wondered if it was lost.
More about him tomorrow.
